Jarvis Green Out Till December
Tom Curran notes that Jarvis Green is out till December after undergoing knee surgery.
Was Green hurt in practice? Seems strange that he'd have surgery after the bye.

Problem is, doesn't Green play predominantly end, and Brace was more of an inside guy being groomed to possibly replace Wilfork?
I was under the impression that the Pats were playing Green-Wilfork-Warren when in the 3-4, and Green-Wright-Wilfork-Warren when in the 4-3 (or maybe Burgess-Wright-Wilfork-Warren when Burgess puts his hand down). Brace was intended to be rotating on the inside, where Wright and Wilfork play. Pryor has been rotating in on the outside, and probably will see his playing time spike even more with Green out.

Any particular reason this gets an XP point link and not Nate Clements and Joe Staley both being out 6-8 weeks? It seems a bit silly to even bring it up but the Niners injuries this past week will likely have a much larger impact on the team than Jarvis Green being out.

Yeah, especially considering that Mike Wright had pretty much replaced Green already.
