Kris Jenkins Out For Season

Jets defensive tackle Kris Jenkins, according to Adam Schefter, has a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

The first 3 weeks were the most fun I've had as a Jets fan since 1998. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Now it's time for the Sione Pouha show, and everyone's invited!

Patriots fans just got a little more excited about the season. Now if only Ryan would get a fit of temporary insanity and trade away Revis...

Still, I feel for the guy. It's tough to lose a season.

I know he had issues in Carolina, although I don't know the details, but Jenkins was one of the most likeable, interesting, intelligent and professional members of the Jets over the last couple years. I loved watching him being interviewed almost as much as watching him blow up plays in the backfield. Almost. I do feel bad for him personally. He seemed to have re-dedicated himself to being a team leader and championship player.

Upcoming win over Jets by Raiders going to be even easier nowo. The old booze is goign down a lot easier tongiht too. fun night w atching chargs and broncos beat up one another. Raiders getting clower to afc west lead now. goign to be 3-4 this time next week

So typical of New York fans. Jets were going to the Super Bowl in Week 3, now their season is over in Week 6. What does FO call the week after Week 1? National Jump to Conclusions Week? In some respects all sports fans and NFL fans do this, but every day is a National Jump to Conclusions holiday in NYC and its environs.

I for one, find the old "Jets fans self-mutilate on Draft Day"-misery far more entertaining than the impersonal "Jets fans cry in front of their keyboards"-misery of the 21st century.

Give me the Jeff Lageman pick any day over this crybaby crap.
