Ma'ake Kemoeatu Tears Achilles

The injuries keep on coming. Panthers starting defensive tackle Ma'ake Kemoeatu tore his Achilles tendon during Carolina's first session Monday morning, and he'll miss the 2009 campaign.

not really good anyway. average type player, maybe good, but probably not. So have to ask yourself is this really big loss for Carolima anyway and answer is probably not really but still hurts a little becaususe of deoth.

I think this really sucks for carolina. he's a premier space-eater, though not much else, but that type is hard to find and probably impossible to replace during training camp. with him gone the panther defense is going to be noticeably softer up the middle.

...because of death?

And I thought I could speak raiderjoeish...

Anyway, what does this have to do with the Raiders going to the SB? Now I'm really confused

deoth = depth

Although if one of them died, that would also make things more difficult for the Panthers.

It’s a sure sign that I’ve been here too long if I’m translating raiderjoe to English, but I’m pretty sure death meant depth.

Thank you for specifying which Kemoeatu in the title.

If Julius Jones gets injured, you can be sure he'll note that "Jones tears his ACL". That's how Bill operates.

I hate August. For some reason, it isn't as distressing (easy for me to say) to hear of these injuries during the season.

And yet, oddly enough, the in-season injuries probably hurt teams more. At least now the teams still have their inflated Camp rosters, and can factor the injury into their cut decisions and/or scout around to get more depth from other team's cuts.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge. Carolina has no depth at DT.

Bad news for Carolina but good news for NFC South running backs. Kemoeatu was out last year when the Giants ran for 300 yds. against the Cats.
