Seahawks Pass-Rushing Drills

Danny O'Neil at The Seattle Times has a clip of the Seahawks' pass-rushing drills from OTAs, explaining how the offensive lineman is at disadvantage, but how Aaron Curry has looked impressive as a pass-rusher.

Thanks Bill! More of this, if possible.
As a fan and a coach I'd love to see more practice drills from the NFL level.

Remember that 'looks impressive' is to be taken with a grain of salt until the pads come on.

Also, as the blog states, this isn't an entirely realistic game scenario, since the offensive lineman is trying to defend out in space, and the defender has the upper hand, so to speak. it's not really the same as the left tackle blocking a linebacker, with a back flaring out behind him, a tight end releasing past the linebacker (possibly chipping him on the way out), and a tight line split (preventing the linebacker from cutting inside).

But still, it's good to read about, especially since that was the one real knock on his game.

Video's been removed.

Apparently you're not supposed to film one-on-one drills.

Finally something about the Seaguls and then it's censored. It's like commie Russia.

In communist Russia, the Seagulls sensor you... oh wait, that doesn't work.

I was pretty eager to see this and damn! Too late! Wanted educational fodder for my 8 year-old's first season of tackle starting in August. If it was taken at their Renton facility, I suppose I could drive out and sneak around, or see if I could film from a boat. From what I have seen, no fields are visible from the street outside, but maybe the lake....
Now I guess it'll have to wait 'til training camp anyway.
