Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries

Remember that Seahawks prediction that revolved around their injury rate regressing to the mean? Um...we might want to hold off on that one.

Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times notes on his Twitter that Walter Jones will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery after leaving practice, while Marcus Trufant has a disc issue and will be out indefinitely.

Kelly Jennings and Brian Russell on the field at the same time? Fabulous.

There's only one thing left to do. Sign Jason David, line him up across from Jennings, and hope the quarterback is laughing too hard to throw the ball accurately.

If Trufant is out, even though I've drafted him in my fantasy league and am a Rams fan I'm half hoping Donnie Avery doesn't make it back for Week 1 now. Seahawks secondary vs Rams receivers in a contest of who can suck ever so slightly less.

As an aside, my Captcha words are "acceptable stalking". Lovely stuff.

Well, at least one of them will get significant playing time... Starters at CB will be Lucas and Wilson; I predict Babineaux will either start over Russell or be the nickel back.

Well if Trufant out foe while team going to struggle. Hard to defend Fitzgdrald, Boldin , Burton, Breatson, and some others (like D Avery wen come back from injury) in games vs Cardinals and Rams in diviasion. Not going to be big probeklm vs 49ers becausue they dont have anybody good at Wr or TE. Seatle goign to have probelms vs air attack teams on scheulde. Porbaly not going to win West now, Going to be Cardinals or Ramss.

Ah yes. Why fear Josh Morgan and Michael Crabtree when you could fear Keenan Burton?

Sounds like you're in damage control mode after putting out some silly Seahawk love. Your Julius Jones fantasy projection is lunacy.

I don't know about "silly," but this should certainly dampen KUBIAK's enthusiasm for Hasselbeck, J. Jones, and co.

Jones, sure, but wouldn't this lead to more pass attempts for Hasselbeck?

So that +1150 on the Rams winning the division is looking better.

The 2009 Hawks are going to be just like the 2008 Vikings. Impossible to run on, but who cares, because the pass defense is so easy to exploit it'll be like taking candy from a baby.

I think you're thinking of the 2007 Vikings, last year the whole Vikings defense was nasty.

And it continues... Their center, Chris Spencer, left last night's game with a quadriceps injury.
