Remember that Seahawks prediction that revolved around their injury rate regressing to the mean? Um...we might want to hold off on that one.
Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times notes on his Twitter that Walter Jones will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery after leaving practice, while Marcus Trufant has a disc issue and will be out indefinitely.

Minor weaknesses dot these teams. Except for Arizona, which needs to bring in more help to really run Bruce Arians' offense.

Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
Kelly Jennings and Brian Russell on the field at the same time? Fabulous.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
There's only one thing left to do. Sign Jason David, line him up across from Jennings, and hope the quarterback is laughing too hard to throw the ball accurately.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
If Trufant is out, even though I've drafted him in my fantasy league and am a Rams fan I'm half hoping Donnie Avery doesn't make it back for Week 1 now. Seahawks secondary vs Rams receivers in a contest of who can suck ever so slightly less.
As an aside, my Captcha words are "acceptable stalking". Lovely stuff.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
Well, at least one of them will get significant playing time... Starters at CB will be Lucas and Wilson; I predict Babineaux will either start over Russell or be the nickel back.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
Well if Trufant out foe while team going to struggle. Hard to defend Fitzgdrald, Boldin , Burton, Breatson, and some others (like D Avery wen come back from injury) in games vs Cardinals and Rams in diviasion. Not going to be big probeklm vs 49ers becausue they dont have anybody good at Wr or TE. Seatle goign to have probelms vs air attack teams on scheulde. Porbaly not going to win West now, Going to be Cardinals or Ramss.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
Ah yes. Why fear Josh Morgan and Michael Crabtree when you could fear Keenan Burton?
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
Sounds like you're in damage control mode after putting out some silly Seahawk love. Your Julius Jones fantasy projection is lunacy.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
I don't know about "silly," but this should certainly dampen KUBIAK's enthusiasm for Hasselbeck, J. Jones, and co.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
Jones, sure, but wouldn't this lead to more pass attempts for Hasselbeck?
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
who is their conditioning coach? Richard Simmons?
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
well played Richard, well played.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
So that +1150 on the Rams winning the division is looking better.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
The 2009 Hawks are going to be just like the 2008 Vikings. Impossible to run on, but who cares, because the pass defense is so easy to exploit it'll be like taking candy from a baby.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
I think you're thinking of the 2007 Vikings, last year the whole Vikings defense was nasty.
Re: Seahawks Suffer Multiple Injuries
And it continues... Their center, Chris Spencer, left last night's game with a quadriceps injury.
