The Giants have signed long-time Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck to a one-year deal that could be worth up to $2.5 million.
Bulluck is coming off of an ACL tear, but reportedly wowed the Giants in a private workout last week.
Could he move into the middle for New York?

Eli Manning and Tom Brady were nearly equal in value in the Super Bowl. One of them had to lose. What effect will that have on their legacies? Plus, the best players of Super Bowl XLVI and the game's DVOA ratings.

Re: Giants Sign Keith Bulluck
Huh. 33 years old, 8 months removed from a full ACL tear, possibly playing a position that he has (to my knowledge) never played as a pro. My expectations are low.
There's probably very little guaranteed in the salary, so I guess it's a low-risk move. But it shows that the team is not especially confident that one of Goff, Dillard, or Wilkinson will emerge as a competent MLB (or, alternately, this could be about Clint Sintim at SAM).

Veteran leadership. He's going lead the team in "go get 'em"s.
Re: Giants Sign Keith Bulluck
Low risk (2.5 mill), probably low reward.
It's probably not going to make or break this season. For the Giants, they really need that pass rush, with that the linebacker play will automatically get better. However, getting a smart player in there, even for the purposes of helping the Jonathan Goff's of the world, mentoring, leading and what not, could help.
Re: Giants Sign Keith Bulluck
The way I see it...I terms of actually being on the field and not in terms of staying on the field with the bad knee - The worst case scenario he is like Antonio Pierce... Slow because of the knee injury but still a smart veteran presence that makes a bunch of plays just on instinct.
Adding a 100 tackle a year guy just can't hurt though.
Re: Giants Sign Keith Bulluck
He's been offered the MLB job according to ESPN.
I am totally on board with this as a Giants fan. We risk nothing, and if he plays to 80% of the level even last year (a down year for him) he's a major upgrade.

I agree. As a Redskins fan, this signing makes me sad a little.
