Rick Gosselin's final mock draft is traditionally the most accurate one out there, not necessarily in terms of matching prospects to teams but for identifying the highest percentage of players who end up being selected in the first round. If Gosselin is right about how the chips fall, Jimmy Clausen may not be a happy camper tonight.

Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
I don't know there's go to be some condolences to getting drafted by a team that isn't a perennial loser.
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
except that he could still end up in buffalo or oakland or cleveland, but instead of top ten money to ease that pain, he could be working with 2nd round money (assuming one of them trades back into the first ala cleveland a few years ago, or he gets past minnesota)
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
That's the rub, isn't it? For a talented QB, it's probably better in the long run to be taken 20th overall than 1st overall, but the absolute worst possible scenario is to be taken 33rd overall (though Drew Brees seems to have done pretty well for himself).
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
Ahh, but what if the Jets trade out (as Gosselin thinks they might do) and a perennial loser gets him before the vikings do?
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
It's just a few hours. What's there to talk about?! Just wait and see.
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
Me, I'm wondering if the Raiders are trying to package McFadden +#8 to the Lions for Suh.
Re: Craig (N.S)
tema should keep D McFadden. Going to be star running back in league. Trading him going to be bad thing. If not draft A Davis , Raiders might get CJ Spiller which if do tgar McFadden and Spiller going to be best RB tanddem in league.
Then on kickoffs other etam have choicne- kick to higgins, kick ro Spiller, kicik ball into end zone or kick ball out of bounds. 3 of 5 choices real bad. 1 choice (touchback) okay. That would be opponents best hope
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
When I saw this on the FO front page, I thought Kate Gosselin did the mock draft and I thought her celebrity had reached new heights of stupidity.
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
And here i expected it to be Kate Gosselin's mock draft, from "Mocking with the Draftniks"....
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
It's a little weird that according to Gosselin, the Jets are the only team that has Center listed as a need.
I know it's a minute point, but I'm curious how he reached that conclusion (I'm guessing it's a mistype)
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
Especially since the Broncos are conspicuously without a center.
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
must be typo becuuase Jets have alreayd all-rpo center on roster
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
This was pretty good. First 29 picks actually went in the first round.
Gosselin's Cowboys prediction
.
Dez Bryant, Wide receiver, Oklahoma State
Bryant won't slide to the Cowboys at 27, so look for Jerry Jones to move up if Bryant tumbles deep into the teens. Bryant has immaturity issues that are scaring teams off. Jones still regrets passing on Randy Moss.
Zing.
Re: Gosselin's Final Mock Draft
Major Wright, Safety, Florida
The Bears don't pick until the third round. The offensive line, running back, quarterback and linebacker boards will be picked clean by then. So the Bears take the best player on the board – a playmaking safety.
yeah, zing. calling the 75th pick is decent work
