Jonathan Babineaux Suspended For Week 1
The NFL has suspended Falcons defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux for the Falcons' Week 1 game against the Steelers. Babineaux was arrested for possessing marijuana in 2009.

When reading their chapter in FOA, I got the impression that it was expected to a long suspension - I guess this is cheap?

He was charged with a crime, so it's only a game. Goodell saves the big suspensions for guys that don't get charged so the NFL looks tough.

Can we start a petition to make the week 1 Steelers / Falcons game a preseason game? At this point, it's going to look like one, with all the starters out.
