Bills Hand Extension To DT Kyle Williams
In news first broken by his agency on Twitter, Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams has agreed to an extension with Buffalo that will tack four more years onto his existing contract, keeping him under control for the next six seasons. Over the life of the contract, he'll make $39 million, $17 million of which is guaranteed.

Sure I know who it is, and sure I know the Bills play with the AFC East. But why oh why don't I care what the Bills are doing?
Is it because I know they will go 3-13 this season? Because I'd rather have them play in Canada? Just for the fun of it.

He's the best DT in football, and will never get exposure. He is being wildly underpaid.

This seems rather cheap to me. I wouldn't go as far as Anonymous(not that one) and say he's the best in the game (I thought Ngata was the best defensive player last season and Suh is gaining fast) but he's a young, elite player and I would have thought his average salary would have been higher than $7 million per year. So he's resigned with the Bills for a low deal, really weird. How many years did he have left on his contract?

OK, that makes his new money close to $10 million per new year of contract, which is much closer to his real value.
