Chiefs safety is the biggest name among the injuries from Week 1, as he'll miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL. Also out for the year: Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding, Chargers defensive end Luis Castillo, and probably Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola and Panthers linebacker Jon Beason.

Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Dang. Even as a Bronco fan, I like watching Berry play.
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Also done for a while (though probably not the whole season): Kevin Walter.
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Worth noting. Eric Berry played every single defensive snap for the Kansas City Chiefs last year. At least according to the Kansas City Star.
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Beason as well. Ouch.
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Sprry news about e. berry nuce young athlete but his tema done for the season too. Only question remain will chiefs win 6 games or will win less than 6 games? M. Caassel not good. Raiders class of dicision. Chargers betyer than hiegs too
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Would you be willing to host a feature called "Ask Raiderjoe"? If the staff would have you, of course. There are just so many questions I would love to ask you!
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
I only want it if we have to decipher raiderjoe's typing. I can usually figure it out in context. But if we start random questions, I'm not sure if I have that skill. I'd still enjoy it just for the obscure yet interesting historical info he remembers. (For the record, I'm 55 and don't remember half of what he does.)

Re
: panters
Team finally het davis, beason amderson on field togethrr amd triumvirate dom
'T eveg last one fill game ahain. Amszing bad lick for the panthers
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
So if it wasn't for bad lick they would have no lick at all.
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Hot damn! I think you've got it licked!
Willie Colon, too
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Ed Bouchette tweets:
Willie Colon has torn triceps, will have surgery Tuesday am, per his agent Joe Linta to PG. Likely to go on IR, ending his season
Re: Willie Colon, too
I can think of worse places for Colon to suffer a tear.
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Cleveland's signed Brad Maynard (former Bear, Giant) to be their third punter of the season after McGee blew out his back before game 1. (Reggie Hodges tore his Achilles in August and is also on IR).
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Hey, don't forget Texan!
They had a competition between him and UDFA Brett Hartmann in camp, then rather bizarrely cut Hartmann after Week 3 of pre-season, cut Maynard after Week 4 of pre-season, and brought Hartmann back.
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
Is this an unusually high number of full-season losses at the go? I was worried about more injuries because of the short preparation. I'd rather had two less games or so than an increase in injuries.
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
does not seem higher than usuual
Re: Eric Berry Done for the Season
It is interesting to me that when RJ posts something like this I completely accept it as a well researched fact.
