Last week, Twitter user @ChrisAronchick had a great idea for us: "Have you all ever considered a silent-auction-type charity deal in which someone bids to be able to participate in Audibles?"
We hadn't, but it's a great idea. So we're going to do it.
We've put together a charity auction on eBay for just that purpose. The auction is live now and will finish next Monday at 12:30 PM ET.
The winner of the auction will be added to our e-mail chain for the Divisional Round edition of Audibles at the Line on Saturday, January 15, and Sunday, January 16. They'll join us for our live comments on the game, and then be included in the edited Audibles at the Line discussion that gets published on the site Monday morning.
The proceeds of the auction will go to the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, the non-profit, 501(c) (3) corporation that provides hands-on assistance and financial aid to help retired NFL players deal with some of the hardships they may encounter after football. Your donation is likely tax-deductible; please check the tax laws in your jurisdiction to confirm.
Because this auction is time-sensitive, payment will be required through Paypal or via credit card within 72 hours of the end of the auction.
We reserve the right to edit the comments provided for Audibles for taste and grammar. (In other words, please don't bid with the intent of advertising your landscaping company or adult website.)

TCU has played much better in the second half of games this year. What other schools have seen dramatic shifts of play after halftime?
