There have been a number of questions, both on the site and on Twitter, about when people are going to see Football Outsiders Almanac 2011. Obviously, the lockout has thrown a wrench in the works. We're working on things as much as we can, but we decided early on that we wanted projections and essays that were fully up-to-date. That meant waiting for free agency, and that meant waiting for the end of the lockout.

So, when can you expect the book and the KUBIAK fantasy projections? Here's a rough estimate:

• 2011 KUBIAK fantasy football projections should be available roughly two weeks after free agency begins.
• Football Outsiders Almanac 2011 should be available roughly one month after free agency begins.
• FO College Football Almanac 2011 will be available in early July. If it comes out before KUBIAK and FOA 2011, we will put the "package deals" on sale and those people who buy the PDF version of FOA will be able to download the college portions of the book before the rest of the book is finished.

If all the optimistic news reports are correct, and the lockout is going to end in early July, that would put KUBIAK out around July 24 with FOA 2011 coming out around August 15. It will be later than usual, but unlike those fantasy magazines you buy off the newstands, FOA 2011 will know who is playing quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals.

If all the optimistic news reports are not correct, we will be sad.
