We are pleased to announce that the college portion of Football Outsiders Almanac 2011 is now available. As in past years, you can buy just the FO College Football Almanac for just five dollars. The college previews will also be included in the regular, full-size FOA 2011.
That leads us to a weird problem because of the lockout. We made a decision early on that we couldn't have the most accurate projections and forecasts for the 2011 season unless we waited for free agency and the end of the lockout. Therefore, neither KUBIAK fantasy football projections nor the NFL previews in FOA 2011 are ready at this point. However, we don't want people to have to choose between waiting to read the college previews or laying out money to buy them twice. Therefore, we have made all our FOA 2011 PACKAGES available as of right now:
However, if you buy a package right now, you will only be downloading the college portions of the book. The rest will be available when we are finished and at that time, anyone who has already paid for FOA 2011 will be able to download the full version free of charge. In addition, right now KUBIAK just consists of a page that says "Hey, KUBIAK coming later." If you buy a package now, you will be able to download KUBIAK after free agency, when we get it all finished up.
A rough timeline:
That physical book version of FOA 2011 will not be for sale until the full NFL portion is finished, so if you buy the actual book and want to read the college stuff early, you'll need to lay out an additional five bucks for FOCFA 2011. Sorry about that.

Thanks a lot, Dak Prescott. Now more people will think the fourth round is still a gold mine for quarterbacks, but the data says otherwise. The update to our quarterback draft study for 1994-2016 shows little has changed: finding a good QB is really hard.
