Brent Grimes Out For Year

Big news from today's Falcons press conference, as Mike Smith announces Brent Grimes is out for the year with an Achilles injury. Grimes ranked third in the league last year in Success Rate and second in Adjusted Pass Yards, so this is obviously a big loss. Asante Samuel and Dunta Robinson are now your starters at cornerback.

Awful news. I'd argue he is our best defensive player. Got injured in the middle of the 4th quarter when we were up 40-17. Fantastic.

The Falcons are going to have to win a lot of shootouts this season. Bet the over.
