Well, they don't really abound. But they are out there. And it is better for me to get my Gangnam Style gags in two weeks too late, instead of my usual two months too late.

The Falcons and Bucs are still lacking edge rushers, the Saints need someone to protect Drew Brees, and the Panthers desperately need a second good wideout.

" The Cardinals go undefeated and inspire a new football paradigm, in which teams build around a turnover-happy defense and strive to sign two lousy quarterbacks instead of one great one. (The Jets will try to take credit for this, but no one will listen, because they will finish 8-8.)"
Hah!

Kevin Kolb is Trent Dilfer 2.0!!!
Re: Mandatory Monday: Surprises Abound
Mike Singletary obviously deserves the credit for inventing the idea before the others. I mean - a coach who competes and keeps his quarterbacks guessing who's starting a defense that plays well, a former player's credibility.... Whisenhunt just saw the genius there and implemented himself.
Only dialed it down a notch or two because you know Mike Singletary was too intense glaring at you and caused the plan to fail.

I'm not sure Mike, these days, two weeks too late is the new two months too late.

Mike, you need to get Sports on Earth to fix their RSS feeds. They haven't updated since your Mandatory Monday: Frenetic Finishes.

Baron Batch, who as we all know is just Charlie Batch wearing a monocle and an aviator’s helmet
Awesome. Funnier if one imagines the Sopwith Camel replacing the Met Life Blimp.
