This week I use numerology to break down the Falcons on fourth down and go game-by-game through the Packers running back woes. Also, Sister Sportsmanship whacks some knuckles.

Hassan Jones and Harlan Huckleby in one article. It's like paying a visit to the NFC Central Hall of Ooh That Rings a Bell.
This article is the second time this week I've heard Harlan Huckleby's name brought up. Just when I thought I had purged him from taking up valuable brain cells.
"NFC Central Hall of Ooh That Rings a Bell."
Also members are Randy Wright, Chuck Long, Vince Workman, Brad Muster, and Darrin Nelson.
Did Sister Sportsmanship teach Catholic Match Girl?
Good Lord, how many years has it been since CMG has graced this site? I'll just take a stab and say it was 2006? She's more fondly remembered than 75% of the draft choices from that year.
Looking at the draft picks that year, I'm not surprised.
Footslogging, clumping, and plodding along. The crazy thing? The running game might become real because the Packers somehow held onto a lineman who knows how to run block and injuries put him on the field. Barclay or bust! It's not right to pine for the good old days of Ryan Grant. With the trends we're seeing I'm wondering if I'll have grand kids before I see another 100 yard rushing performance from a GB running back, and I need to have kids first.
For those who don't know the last time the Packers had a 100 yard rusher was Week 5, 2010 (OK Starks had 113 in the wild card game vs Philly in 2010 as well). That was Brandon Jackson and that happened because he had a 71 yard run, because I think Washington had defenders trip over each other.
Brett Favre was the QB the last time they had back to back games with a 100+ yard rusher. Week 16 (Grant 100) and 17 (Jackson 113) of 2007. The last time the same running back had back to back 100 yard games? Week 8 and 9 of 2006, Ahman Green.
Holy cow! If NFL teams could arrange their schedules like college, I think the Colts D braintrust would like to schedule the Pack for about 14 games next year. Man, I think they would then rate out as "average" against the run. The bonus for you is you'll get your back to back 100 yard rushers. It's a win-win scenario, I tell ya.
Am I sick to have been waiting for the Henne-Tannehill match up for three weeks now?
"Gregg Williams claimed he tried to stop the pay-for-performance program (also, Genghis Khan just wanted to take the horses out for some wholesome dressage) "
It'll be a while before you top that, Tanier.

Offensive line problems highlight the needs in the NFC North ... except in Chicago, which is kind of unsettling to think about.
