This week, I discover the anatomical term "Acoustic Meatus" while doing some Matt Schaub research, and that's all she wrote for my sense of humor.

Minor weaknesses dot these teams. Except for Arizona, which needs to bring in more help to really run Bruce Arians' offense.

Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Wow. I'm forced to write words that may never have been used in combination. Poor Greg Schiano.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Better than the Urinary Meatus, I suppose
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
After reading "McKnight did intercept three passes in practice, including one by Tebow, marking the first time a backup running back ever intercepted a pass by a backup fullback in the entire history of horrible ideas.", I'm glad I didn't have any beverages near my mouth.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
I haven't gotten past that line yet, so this might change in the next few minutes, but that is the line of the month.

Phil Simms is to analysts what Ryan Leaf is to NFL QBs
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
I'm going to hazard that it occurred reasonably often in the 1930s and 1940s.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Yeah that was hilarious!! As a Giants fan, I can't wait for Sanchez to crack more under the Tebow chants.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
What a circus! Nobody, especially in the AFC East, EVER used offensive players for depth in the secondary before.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
McKnight did a sack of romo last year right?
Will oick later
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Stop posting.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
uh enough already with clueless dudes whining about raiderjoe. not only is he a valued FO mainstay, there's also a 99.99% chance that RJ knows a hundred times more about football than you (or I) do. maybe you're the one who should stop posting.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Ah...you haven't caught on that Raiderjoe and McLuvin are actually the same person. The show goes on....
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
There is a huge percentage of people on here who find RaiderJoe's shtick annoying, and thinks the whole place would be better off if he stopped intentionally misspelling things.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
wrong.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
whitty retort.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
I've noticed this "huge percentage" tend to be (not verified) and seem to be mostly the same few people. And it's not a "schtick". It's just who he is. Other than the poor spelling, I wasn't much different as a Packers fan in the 70's and 80's regarding my undying faith in my team. Despite the alcohol, raiderjoe remembers far more football than I do from those times.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Easy solution:
Right under the post number and the subject line, there's a black, boldfaced line of text. Simply don't read any post where this line of text says "Raiderjoe", and your annoyance will vanish.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Do you actually have anything to say about football?
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
McLubin1983 hasn't posted anything football related.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Did not get sakx. Must have been regular tackle.
Wish McLubin did something useful.
McLubin loolk up the Week 1 2011 game book Dallas ta Jets and ssee what McLniht doo in that game
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
back on topic, I quite like the Jets as Dali. which I guess makes the inevitable Tebow QB insertion the razor slicing the eyeball in Un Chien Andalou, in the sense that he'll make Jets fans want to slice their eyeballs with razors.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
I'm pretty sure before I got there, my eyes glazed over at the thought of reading more about the Jets and I just scrolled forward to the next team. And this is Tanier - so you know how disgusted I am with the hype.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
I have to disagree with Mike's template for beating the Niners. The Vikings' "running right at them" gained their backs 104 yards on 33 carries, an average of about three years per carry. In watching that game, I thought the secret to the Vikings' success was the short passing game, which did not allow the Niners defense to harass Ponder. It also didn't hurt that Alex Smith reverted to his 2010 version.

I miss walkthrough
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Note: The acoustic meatus is the outer ear canal. It is OK to play with it in public, but never insert anything smaller than your elbow!
Smaller?
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
Yes, to avoid damaging your inner ear.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
If you successfully insert your elbow into your ear, damage to the acoustic meatus is going to be the least of your concerns.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
"Your ear canal is big as a house as big as a house."
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
This, is what I was thinking.
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
I love it when Tanier makes Eminem references
Re: NFL Lowdown: Week 4
