I don't quite understand this story, but apparently the league has voided Sean Payton's contract extension with New Orleans, which he signed last September before the bounty scandal. The issue seems to be a clause which would allow Payton to leave the Saints if Mickey Loomis were to be suspended or fired. The league has a problem with this clause, yet if they void the contract, they're setting Payton free anyway. Many people feel that he'll now be heading to Dallas next year. Lord knows that Jason Garrett isn't swimming in job security these days.
