Normally, XP has a policy against linking to "rumors" posts. We only link to news when it happens. But we've been waiting for this for so, so long that we have to celebrate just the idea that it is finally going to happen. Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune says the Chargers will finally get rid of Norv Turner and A.J. Smith after the season. Turner can go back to being a very good offensive coordinator who doesn't have to actually motivate the locker room or manage late-game strategy, and Smith can go back to... I don't know what he's specifically good at, actually. He used to be good at drafting, but not lately.
UPDATE: Hmmm, this was apparently reported last December as well. Maybe we shouldn't be too excited. Sigh.

Our offseason Four Downs series ends with a look at the NFC West's biggest remaining holes and their most notable UDFA signings. The Rams and 49ers have to kick-start their passing games, Arizona's offense lacks a big dimension, and the Seahawks continue to rely on Russell Wilson's magic tricks.
