Half of the Thursday Night Football lineup for next year will be headed to CBS, and the other half will be on the NFL Network, per a deal between the NFL and CBS. This also brings back two Saturday games, and all 16 games will be done by CBS' lead broadcasting team.
In other words: JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Some schools are known for producing good athletes whose games don’t translate to the NFL. LSU’s Beckham doesn’t fit that pattern.

Congratulations to Derrick Brooks, Ray Guy (seniors candidate), Claude Humphrey (seniors candidate), Walter Jones, Andre Reed, Michael Strahan, and Aeneas Williams for their election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Among the other ten names that made it to the room, Jerome Bettis, Kevin Greene, Charles Haley, Marvin Harrison, and Will Shields reportedly made the cut to ten. Morten Andersen, Tim Brown, Eddie DeBartolo, Tony Dungy, and John Lynch were eliminated in the first round of voting.

The NFL is certainly not perfect, and there are issues to address, but the current hyperbolic wave of criticism of the NFL is getting a bit ridiculous. The NFL can't solve social problems that no other institution has fully solved, and the NFL can't make football 100 percent safe any more than it could make skateboarding or baseball 100 percent safe. Roger Goodell can't go back in time and teach players of the 1970's about concussions any more than Bud Selig can go back to make sure Ryan Freel never gets a concussion.

How will the best division in football follow up on it's success in 2013? Can Seattle keep Michael Bennett?
