What would you do as a GM of a freakish talent that is the Randy Moss-Lawrence Taylor of left tackles, but has a wild streak? Michael Schottey of Bleacher Report and Matt Waldman give their takes.

Doug Farrar, Cian Fahey, and I had a bit of an e-mail round robin about Flowers about a month ago, before Kansas City cut him. Flowers had phenomenal charting stats in 2012 -- top ten in both Adjusted Success Rate and Adjusted Yards per Pass -- and then horrific charting stats in 2013. Looking closer with two film guys, though, it looked like less of a case of getting old and more a case of player and scheme really not matching. The Chiefs had always played Flowers on one side, period. Suddenly in 2013 they were moving him all over, sometimes into the slot.

Your team captain and the Walter Payton Man of The Year is entering the final year of his contract, but you have dirt on him. Do you use it to leverage a new deal in your favor ? One of several GM Scenario that Matt Waldman has football writers around the Internet wrestling with.

Top receiver corps, to be specific, and I consider tight ends and running backs who can catch as part of the corps.

This isn't a hugely important player loss, but it is a sad one. While Eddie Lacy is on the precipice of stardom, the other running back Green Bay drafted last year, Johnathan Franklin, will probably never play again due to a neck injury sustained during a kickoff last year in Week 12. The Packers will be giving him a waived/injured designation, and in a tweet today Franklin indicated that he needs to move to the next phase of his life. I hope he invested his rookie salary well.

Are the best defenses against play action the best against regular passes too? How much impact does play action really have in an NFL game, and does it correlate from year to year?
