I know, I should not keep going back to the Jay Cutler well. But I am not the only one making him look silly in the name of self-branding: I am clearly in line behind his fiance. At any rate, here is some football stuff.

Re: Mandatory Monday: Hidden Agenda
I think I can shed some light on the Cutler engagement story. The reason the ring was delivered by post is that Cutler had arranged for his fiancee to be at table six but when he arrived he threw the ring to Charles Woodson who was sat at table nine. Cutler then sulked and texted her that she was at the wrong table. Woodson was initially nonplussed but then realised that the ring was for Cavalari when he saw her interview and popped the ring in the post.
I don't really see where the confusion arises.
Re: Mandatory Monday: Hidden Agenda
What's the over/under on Camden Jack's first arrest?
Re: Mandatory Monday: Hidden Agenda
The best part is that somehow the engagement by text is what really bothers her when that's far and away the most normal thing about the story. (They've been together a while, already have a kid, I can see it just coming up like that.) The part that needs damage control is how an engagement ring ends up "sitting at home for a couple of weeks before I put it on."
Jay: Hey, did the ring show up yet?
Cavalari: Yeah, it's been here a couple weeks. I had a grocery trip and some dry cleaning to pick up so I haven't gotten around to trying it on yet. But thanks any way.
Re: Mandatory Monday: Hidden Agenda
Maybe he was really tossing the ring to Brandon Marshall and Woodson intercepted it.
Re: Mandatory Monday: Hidden Agenda
I say rly. Cutlet deserves at least Kris Humphries-level treatment here. I blame Cavallari for not having a reality show vehicle in place already to deal with this.
Re: Mandatory Monday: Hidden Agenda
Am I the only one who found the Cutler NFL Network ad funny?
He's so low-key that he's got a real gift for deadpan responses. I can see him doing poor-man's Blake Griffin ads quite successfully.
Re: Mandatory Monday: Hidden Agenda
I haven't seen that ad, but I can believe what you say.
Re: Mandatory Monday: Hidden Agenda
I read the Cutler part in class, and had to fake a coughing fit to disguise my laughter. I did laugh out loud at "Who is watching Camden Jack?" Just something about that name...
