MMQB: Steve Gleason

Mr. King begins his annual MMQB leave this week, and former Saints player Steve Gleason is the first guest columnist. Most of the column covers how he lives with ALS and what he's doing to help other people with ALS. Gleason includes several typical MMQB features, including Tweets of the Week and Ten Things I Think I Think, including "I think the acronym for this column should be MMQ. Quarterback is one word." It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who's been bothered by that.

I'll give it a vote for that.

I don't even have to read it to know it's probably the best this year.

edit: Did read it - it is great. Please forgive the anti-PK snark.

Bothered? Serious?

So you're going to use the 'Q' whenever someone would use 'QB'??

I don't think it's odd to use "Q" instead of "QB" (though I use them interchangeably).

Think of playground football with an odd number of kids. "Who's all-time Q?"

"I think it would be cool if my body parts shrunk as my muscles died. That way Michel could tote me around like Yoda, Benjamin Button or C3PO. "

You think this guy is well adjusted or what?
