That can't be right. The seven teams that won 1 game in a season won 7.8 on average the next year??

Anyway, very interesting article, that very table in particular. Then again, I always enjoyed Barnwell, unlike some around these parts.

1990 Pats went 6-10 in '91
1991 Colts went 9-7 in '92
1996 Jest went 9-7 in '97
2000 Chargers went 5-11 in '01
2001 Panthers went 7-9 in '02
2007 Dolphins went 11-5 in '08
2009 Rams went 7-9 in '10

I don't know which is more surprising to me. The dramatic turnarounds or the fact that the Bengals aren't on that list anywhere.
