Ben Muth (hey, I know that guy!) looks at Mike Shanahan's offense for SB Nation and finds that not much has actually changed from the John Elway days.

This...doesn't mean that Ben is leaving FO, does it?
I have a bad feeling it does. It's been a while since his last article here.
Not going anywhere. Just been my typical lazy self in the offseason. Once the season starts and there are fresh games to write about, I'll be doing the weekly columns here.
Excellent. Looking forward to this year's recipients of the Great X Of Shame.
That's great, but we'd love to hear what kind of drills you're using to get into game condition -- e.g. conciseness drills to get rid of excess verbiage accumulated over the offseason... ;^)
More seriously, since a number of teams have had significant turnover on the OL (Detroit Lions, for example, hint hint), I hope you plan to study some teams you dismissed last year. It would be boring ifbypu spent another year praising the 49er and Pats OLs endlessly.
I would like to recommend the Panthers.
Where else can you watch a team that has a former All-Pro left tackle (Jordan Gross) fighting his advancing age, a former pro-bowl center recovering from a season-ending injury (Ryan Kalil), a 2nd year left guard still adjusting to the speed and power of the NFL, and probably the worst starting right side in football with tackle Byron Bell and whoever wins the drawing-a-fan's-name-out-of-a-hat-contest on game-day playing at guard?
Bengals, Eagles, and Cowboys.
While there is still a tendency to engage in some jargon here, I think this was a great discussion of football. All sorts of things to digest here.
great article...really enjoyed it
Inside zone, inside zone everywhere!
Hello there! Do you use Twitter? I'd like to follow you if that would be ok. I'm definitely enjoying your blog and look forward to new posts.

The Vikings need offensive line help, while the Bears, Lions, and Packers have significant defensive concerns.
