We're getting a lot of questions via both Twitter and our mailbag about when you can expect Football Outsiders Almanac 2013 and this year's KUBIAK fantasy football projections. Unfortunately, we're running a bit behind on things, mostly because of some family issues I've had to deal with over the last few months. The current expected release dates are as following:
Monday July 8: KUBIAK fantasy football projections available
Monday July 15: Football Outsiders Almanac 2013 available as PDF
Monday July 22: Football Outsiders Almanac 2013 print version available
Those dates represent conservative expectations, and we certainly hope to be out a few days sooner. Anyway, bear with the unfortunately tardy schedule and I think you will be rewarded, there's lots of good writing in this year's book, including the addition of Chase Stuart of Football Perspective and the return of Doug Farrar (each writing two NFC East chapters) plus the usual folk, including those who don't write for FO online anymore like Mike Tanier and Brian McIntyre. We'll also have a host of new stats, some provided by ESPN Stats & Info, and tables of individual offensive line stats for the first time.
After three NFL seasons of kicking off from the 35-yard line, what has been the impact on touchbacks, returns, field position, scoring and injuries? Also, is this rule responsible for a record number of big comebacks?
