RIP. To say he made his mark on the league is putting it mildly.

Hopefully the team he built is going to stay where he built it, but...well, supposedly there's a group of investors who were prepared to make an offer on the team as a way to ensure that the Bills would remain in Buffalo in the event of Wilson's death. But the ringleader of this group, the one who "lined up" the financing, was Jim Kelly. Who is now preparing for surgery to fight his resurgent cancer. Ugh.

The Kelly medical news is beyond awful. 95 is a damned good run, to say the least.

RIP, indeed. Not many can say they accomplished as much as an owner as he can, even if the fans didn't always agree with him.

Rumors from "insiders" at OBD are that his parting gift is a reasonable plan to keep the team in Buffalo. That stretches into credulity territory a bit much for me, but it would be nice if it was true.
