Mandatory Monday: O-Line Rankings

It was inevitable that I would give up trying to brainstorm loopy offseason features each week and revert to something more conventional and easier to promote. Going to go unit by unit ranking teams throughout June and into July. In the event that I come up with something loopy, I will just write it midweek.

Also Sports on Earth unveils a 32-team offseason feature this week, starting with the Falcons. My usual co-conspirators, including Rob Weintraub, Russ Lande, Dan Pompeii and Andrew Garda, will be chipping in and breaking down teams throughout the month.

Finally, buy my book.

Daryl Washington Suspended for Entire 2014 Season

Well, this is as big as the Cowboys losing Sean Lee to a torn ACL. Arizona inside linebacker Daryl Washington will miss the entire season, suspended due to the league's substance abuse policy. Sean Lee Tears ACL, Done for Year

When I saw this news, I literally screamed "Oh, for crying out loud" at my computer, and I'm not even a Dallas fan. I just like good players when they get to actually play. So, who takes over?
