Mandatory Monday: Ups and Downs

An offseason "risers and fallers" piece, in which teams with young cores and cash to spend (Eagles, Colts) get better and old teams in cap trouble fall (Saints, Steelers). Click around Sports on Earth for our GM for a Day series: Rob Weintraub has the latest installment, about the Buccaneers, but we are updating daily. Also: lots of Michael Sam coverage.

I have to say "an offensive line so screwed up that Bryant McKinnie was a stabilizing influence" really puts the Miami situation in perspective.

"Welcome to the 21st century news cycle, when a Super Bowl champion has less than one week to bask in the glory of their accomplishments"

Oh I thought the photographers do that the moment the ref puts the ball in the air.
Am I the only one who thinks we could do without that scene?

"When you get down to it, Jerry Jones, Jason Garrett and Monte Kiffin are not really Larry, Curly and Moe either."
Certainly not in that order but make it Jason, Monte, and Jerry then you might need to have them wear nametags to tell the difference. (I can so see Jerry Jones as Moe.)

Or, alternatively "Hi I'm Larry/Jerry and this is my brother Darryl, and my other brother Darryl."
