MMQB: Silicon Valley Victory

Better late than never, here's a link to this week's Monday Morning Quarterback, in which Peter King checks out Levi's Stadium, discusses the development of Blake Bortles, and looks at the penalty explosion of the preseason.

Posting here b/c King's Thursday article won't be linked. I know PK's an idiot, but Denver missed Miller a lot more than Dumerveil last year, and the Super Bowl was probably a lost cause, but it seems odd that the narrative ignores that Denver and New England, while still the class of the AFC, were both decimated by injuries last season (each losing 2 of their best 3 players s well as numerous other starters).

The 2010 Packers won the Super Bowl despite being decimated by injuries. Injuries are not an excuse. If your team doesn't have the depth to mitigate injuries there's a risk it will catch up to it.
