Tanier's NFL Game Riffs: Wild Card Weekend

The Colts have used more players than any other NFL team, the 2013 Eagles look a lot like the 2012 Redskins, and the 49ers are over-relying on Anquan Boldin so they can snooker the Packers. All this AND Andy Dalton jokes.

I love your game riffs. I have absolutely no idea who will win any of these wild card games, and after reading your article I still don't. I recommend against anyone betting on any of these games.

Yesterday, weather.com said it would be, in Green Bay, around 0 with 9 m.p.h. wind. Last I checked today, they had it at -5 with 14 m.p.h. wind. If it gets to 18 m.p.h. wind, it's going to be real Cavemanball, and, to me, fascinating to watch.

Whichever punter has a better day may well decide the outcome.

Let's hear it for Cavemanball! I could use a respite from empty backfields, bunch formations, bubble screens, and quasi-legal picks.

Bring back mammoth hunts as well!

At those temperatures it's going to be like kicking a rock. This game has random written all over it, something weird is going to happen, all bets are off.

Forecast is now for 18 m.p.h. wind at gametime, with a chance it may increase from there. Time for Justin Smith to go Neanderthal.

Mike's Philly homerism has NEVER been so obvious...

The Mummers Parade is nowhere near that organized!
