Nice video profile of Seattle general manager John Schneider by Michael Silver of NFL.com. Why yes, that is a copy of Football Outsiders Almanac on his desk!

Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has been suspended four games for a violation of the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. The fifth-year wide receiver, playing this season under the franchise tag, ranked 16th among qualifying WRs in receiving DYAR and 20th in DVOA heading into yesterday's loss to Tampa Bay. He will miss Chicago's games at the Giants, home against the Titans and 49ers, and at Detroit before returning to face the Packers in Week 15.

Interesting graphic over at Over The Cap, where Jason Fitzgerald shows how each team's cap spending in 2016 compares to its DVOA at the midway point of the season. What on earth are the Jets doing?

Part One of a three-parter on what the NFL will look like in ten years. This one starts with a virtual Tom Brady on your pool table, then gets crazy.

The Vikings and Lions need linemen, the Packers ponder secondary concerns, and the Bears look to finally move on from Jay Cutler.
