Any Given Sunday looks at the thread running through the New York Giants' worst games this year. Teams generally beat them by taking advantage of the secondary, particularly the holes in the zone between the linebackers and safeties. It also helped to get Osi Umenyiora off the field.

The Falcons seek protection for Matt Ryan, the Panthers look to strengthen their nickel defense, the Saints hope for some pass rush, and the Buccaneers are in search of leadership.

Re: ESPN AGS: Lessons from New York's Losses
How about the impact of Chase Blackburn? I know many Giants fans feel that his addition has improved the middle LB spot to below-average from atrocious. Is he a bit better than the alternatives at appropriate zone drops or even possibly coverage changes?

As far as the redskins game you are spot on the osi being out helped washington both those games. Also london fletcher did a good job calling audibles against eli manning's audibles because eli threw some picks where the receiver was nowhere around like the josh wilson pick or like the kerrigan pick he would throw right into somebody.
