ESPN: BCS Will Have To Wait

Every year, there are teams that receive preseason accolades that likely won't hold up over the course of the season. The Michigan Wolverines might be this year's prime candidate for "most-likely-to-be-overrated". Our F/+ projections actually pick Michigan to edge out Nebraska and Michigan State in the Big Ten Legends division, but the overall schedule will be too tough for the Wolverines to finish among the nation's elite.

In this Insider article, I break down the Wolverines and four other programs that didn't qualify for the "20 Teams That Can Win It All" series and the factors that will keep them out of a BCS bowl this year. There's a chance each could break into the Program FEI top-20 next year or down the road and position itself for a legitimate championship run.

Wow, Program FEI really hates the midwest. Did ESPN make you do this to fit into their coastal bias?
