Alabama and LSU are expected to reload next season and the SEC conference will be in pursuit of its seventh straight national championship. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about the SEC's run (or perhaps the reason for it) has been the rotating cast of contenders. Four different SEC West teams and four different SEC East teams have played in the conference championship game in the last six years, and the SEC hasn't had a repeat champ since 1997/98.
