ESPN: Value Drive Leaders
We introduced a new college football metric this year called "value drives" as a way to measure drive-closing rate more effectively than red zone success. Not only does value drive efficiency have a stronger correlation with winning percentage than red zone efficiency, it has a stronger correlation from year to year as well. Today at ESPN Insider, we take a look at three teams that a few teams that may need to focus on value drive efficiency next year in order to live up to high expectations.
