Notre Dame and Alabama face off next week in the BCS National Championship game, and the matchup between historical powers is one of the most anticipated college football games in years. Notre Dame is the nation's only eligible undefeated team, and Alabama is the one-loss champion of the SEC. Both teams rank among the top-10 in all-time winning percentage and no other schools claim more national titles than these programs.
But how do they rank among the BCS championship game participants of the last five years? According to the FEI ratings, Notre Dame's draw this season is pretty favorable compared to SEC champions of the recent past. And in order for Alabama to claim the Southeastern Conference's seventh straight title, they'll have to knock off a more difficult challenge than usual.

Great post full of useful tips! My site is fairly new and I am also having a hard time getting my readers to leave comments. Analytics shows they are coming to the site but I have a feeling “nobody wants to be first”.
