Is this finally the week that Rashard Mendenhall owners are rewarded? Plus, don't expect your Ravens to be high scorers in Week 4.

Minor weaknesses dot these teams. Except for Arizona, which needs to bring in more help to really run Bruce Arians' offense.

Re: ESPN: Week 4 Fantasy Matchups
No kidding about variability. I started AJ Green and Mendenhall last week and got burned. Let's see what happens this week...
Re: ESPN: Week 4 Fantasy Matchups
Really sit Sproles? Even in a full PPR league? I've had Sproles on my bench each week and he has outperformed at least one of my starting running backs each time. I basically have to start two of Mathews, Sproles, Benson, Hightower, or Wells and I can't see how Mathews and Sproles aren't my best choices.
Re: ESPN: Week 4 Fantasy Matchups
Like most fantasy advice at ESPN, I would assume they taylor it for their "standard" leagues, which are not PPR. In that case, Sproles may be a better play. I'm not in a PPR league, but do get points for return yards, and for me Sproles has been my 2nd best RB (which is partially because of the Arian Foster injury), so I might still play him this week.
Re: ESPN: Week 4 Fantasy Matchups
I have Sproles in a PPR league, and a part PPR league with points for return yards. Sproles is the most consistent of my RBs, and frequently is my best performing RBs. He's had a TD every single game, and he generally will get to 100 all purpose yards (more often than not reception yards).
Re: ESPN: Week 4 Fantasy Matchups
Well shit. I was already to bench Mendenhall and go with F. Jackson and Matthews at RB. Now, I have no idea what to do. Any advice from the FO community?
Re: ESPN: Week 4 Fantasy Matchups
Mathews and Jackson cannot be on any bench, period! The BUF passing attack is opening up Jackson for big play opportunities, while his hands are just as damaging. Mathews is finally showing his 1st round skills and with Tolbert's big fumble against NE, Mathews will get 20 touches a game with a great offense. Mendenhall sounds like trade bait if you need a top WR like Stevie Johnson. Mendenhall carried the load last year, especially in the first 4 games, so Redman is getting more looks and not looking bad at all. I think Starks is going to have a chance at not only a huge week, but a huge rest of the season. Maybe Mendenhall for Starks while upgrading at WR.
Re: ESPN: Week 4 Fantasy Matchups
Not a good week for the Fantasy Matchups. Hopefully things start improving once opponent adjustments are included.
