ESPN: Week 10 DFS Matchups

At ESPN Insider, some of our favorite Week 10 DFS matchups include Jared Goff, Jordan Howard, Robby Anderson, and Eric Ebron. We're also trusting Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown to deliver again in Indianapolis.

Each week I will recap the picks I made in the previous week's column to gauge the accuracy of my advice. References to rankings are from DraftKings for that player's position.

Hits

Jay Cutler - for the first time in his NFL career Cutler had a game with over 300 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He was QB3 with 27.44 FPT.

Marcus Mariota (fade) - he finished with 16.32 FPT thanks to a late score, but that was still only good for QB19. You could have gotten 0.04 more FPT from Blake Bortles for $1,300 less.

Christian McCaffrey - he finished seventh with 20.4 FPT. I suppose his touchdown is staying as a run instead of a pass.

Adrian Peterson - he was the leading rusher of the week with a career-high 37 carries, but didn't find the end zone. Still, Peterson was RB6 with 20.7 FPT.

Devin Funchess - even on a day where Cam Newton didn't throw for 140 yards, Funchess did well enough with 13.6 FPT as a value pick.

T.Y. Hilton - he had another monster game against the Texans and finished with 37.5 FPT to be WR1.

Jordy Nelson (fade) - only 7.5 FPT. It doesn't look like the Packers are going to do much on offense anymore this season. You know why too.

Delanie Walker - finished as TE8 with 12.1 FPT. It wasn't a big week for tight ends.

Misses

Jameis Winston - you don't get any points for "eating a W" before the game. Winston left the game injured and only had 3.48 FPT.

Chris Thompson - it was a quiet day for Washington's offense in Seattle. Thompson only had 7.1 FPT.

Alvin Kamara (fade) - a big miss by me. Kamara finished as RB1 with 32.2 FPT. He got more carries this week and continued to be a receiving threat.

Will Fuller - he only had 5.2 FPT. Now I would have not recommended this one after the Thursday news that Deshaun Watson was out for the season, but this is the problem with doing this column on a Tuesday night.

Vernon Davis (fade) - he still did enough to finish as TE6 with 13.2 FPT. I thought Jordan Reed might play, which would have fed into Davis' production, but it was only Davis on Sunday.

Exclusions

Jordan Reed - he did not play.
