J.I. Halsell's feature continues on to the NFC East, where the Cowboys may decide that 2010 is the end of Marion Barber's run in Big D.

Eli Manning and Tom Brady were nearly equal in value in the Super Bowl. One of them had to lose. What effect will that have on their legacies? Plus, the best players of Super Bowl XLVI and the game's DVOA ratings.

Re: ESPN: NFC East Salary Analysis
Marion's usually a dinged-up-and-average back who can be pretty good when healthy (see Week 2, 2009), but there's no reason to pay him $10MM as the Cowboys are this season.
I think it's pretty much agreed on that paying for RBs doesn't make a ton of sense in most cases, and Tashard Choice is an excellent example of why-- there's almost always a younger, cheaper guy you can plug in and achieve similar or superior results.
The MB3 contract was an exception to what has been a few years of pretty good financial discipline by Jerry and Stephen Jones (the Cowboys have had a very small number of players in recent years whose contracts constitute a Top 10 salary for their position and rank in the bottom third of the NFL in this category).
