Analysis of the surprising 3-1 Titans shows a team very similar to the Titans team that went 13-3 in 2003: strong passing and defense overcoming a stagnant running game. But since Matt Hasselbeck is unlikely to continue playing at a superstar level, the onus is on the defense to keep the team in the AFC South race.

Minor weaknesses dot these teams. Except for Arizona, which needs to bring in more help to really run Bruce Arians' offense.

12-4 was Titans record in 2003
Same comment as the one on espn.com from the same person: The Titans went 12-4 in 2003. You may be conflating that team with the 13-3 Titans of 2008.
