Why is this Giants slump different from all other slumps? Because this one is powered by a massive personal slump for Eli Manning, three straight games below 0 DYAR. That's almost unheard of for a quarterback of his quality, and a good reason to believe the Giants can bounce back.

Minor weaknesses dot these teams. Except for Arizona, which needs to bring in more help to really run Bruce Arians' offense.

Re: ESPN: Why New York Giants Will Recover
Noooo! Dammit! You're supposed to write about how Eli is done and Coughlin needs to be fired, so then they can go on their Super Bowl run when everybody writes them off! This is just not acceptable.
The Giants are like the really smart kid you knew in high school who always self destructed because he couldn't handle the pressure of expectations. The one who smoked a lot of pot because he didn't want to be seen as smart, but wound up getting a 1500 on his SATs, and is now working as a hedge fund manager with three kids in the suburbs.
Re: ESPN: Why New York Giants Will Recover
That's the saddest thing I ever heard.
Re: ESPN: Why New York Giants Will Recover
At this point, I don't see how the Giants could lose the Superbowl.
Re: ESPN: Why New York Giants Will Recover
But what if the Pats fall short in the playoffs and Bill Belichick isn't on the field??! He's their lucky charm! (NYG is 4-0 in Super Bowls with Belichick involvement; 0-1 otherwise.)
Re: ESPN: Why New York Giants Will Recover
Now write about why the NY Jets will not recover.
