ESPN asked for a Football Outsiders All-Pro Team, and so I delivered. Go ahead and debate.

Two pieces here on ESPN Insider today, using FO stats to point out five players whose 2011 seasons were unappreciated and five players whose 2011 seasons were not as good as standard stats indicate.

This week's MNF feature looks at the Atlanta defense, both good (Brent Grimes, Sean Weatherspoon) and bad (Dunta Robinson, the safeties).

This week's ESPN feature looks at the New York Giants. The talent seems to be there, but the Giants had two big problems this year. One was health, as the Giants will come close to the record for defensive AGL. The other is yet another second-half collapse, which ended up just like all their other second-half collapses. At some point, you've got to look at the head coach as the reason why the Giants can't keep it going in November and December.

Danny Tuccitto discusses how the 49ers offensive line has been the biggest problem in San Francisco's losses -- and must improve if the 49ers want to win some playoff games.

My column for ESPN Insider this week points out that massive imbalance between offense and defense hasn't necessarily kept teams from winning in past postseasons. It's not true that the Saints and Patriots can't compete in the playoffs because of awful defense; what matters is the whole package.

We look at why the St. Louis offense has struggled so much this season. Could it be that Josh McDaniels simply didn't have enough time to implement his system?

A number of stats here to show what a great season Jordy Nelson is having. Right now he would set a record for highest DVOA by a wide receiver with at least 60 pass targets. This article also features the debut of slightly tweaked receiving plus-minus and YAC+ stats for use in-season. Nelson does excellent in these as well. Since this piece is ESPN Insider, I'll run some larger tables with those stats for other players here on FO sometime this weekend.

Here's a look at the Jacksonville improvement on defense -- right now, the biggest year-to-year improvement in defensive DVOA that we've ever measured.

A look at how much Houston's defense has improved this season, and in what ways it has improved most.
