ESPN: How Bad the Bad Teams Can Get

Does it seem like 2009 has more awful teams than ever before? As this ESPN article points out, the difference isn't that big, and the bad teams aren't as bad as you think. Schedule strength means things are going to get better... except for Tampa Bay and Washington.

ESPN: Don't Count Out the Eagles

This week's MNF feature on ESPN Insider points out that one surprise loss does not spoil a team's Super Bowl hopes. Every single Super Bowl champion of the DVOA Era had at least one loss with a single-game DVOA lower than what the Eagles put up against Oakland; I catalog all 15 of those games.

We put together a glossary of route-running terms to accompany an article by Seth Wickersham in the next (non-naked) issue of ESPN The Magazine. ESPN: Do Clutch Quarterbacks Exist?
