There are loads and loads of Cowboy fans and most of them are dumb enough to bet on their team no matter what. That'll change betting lines.

To the extent that we communally gather to mock and cheer against the Cowboys, yes we are.
But we don't blame the Cowboys as much as CBS for anointing the corporate-excess darlings "America's Team" and causing well over 70% of the country to gag every time they said it.
