This week's FO Seattle Times Seahawks preview has an Animal Planet feel to it. "Crikey -- I've never seen a Wildcat do that to a Seahawk!"

Re: Inside the Numbers: Seahawks at Dolphins
I've found zero talk this week about what the Seahawks are doing to prepare for the Wildcat. Or if they are doing anything. This is going to be embarrassing.
Re: Inside the Numbers: Seahawks at Dolphins
I have visions of LBs running into each other as they overpursue decoys and actual ball-carriers in the MIA backfield. Brian Russell allowing RBs, WRs, even Chad Pennington to get behind him because he consistently misreads the action. DEs who will penetrate into the backfield and freeze, not knowing whether to chase the play or hold their ground to cover the back door.
The line I saw on this game was MIA -9.5, and I didn't hesitate to take MIA. The Seahawks defense was practiaclly custom-ordered to act as the Washington Generals to Miami's Harlem Globetrotters.
Here's hoping for better coaching and better performances from the defense next year. A return to 2007 form would be nice enough.
