This is the first in a weekly series of draft prospect profiles I'll be doing for the Washington Post's "PreDraft" section. In this one, I talk to UConn cornerback Darius Butler about why he was overlooked as a Florida high school player, how he overcame that slight elsewhere, and how he came to be involved in Deion Sanders' "Prime U" project.

Re: Darius Butler: Ready for Prime Time
I watch a lot of Big East games, and I've seen a fair bit of Butler. I absolutely loved him as a sophomore and junior. I know he had some injury issues this year, but his play fell off a bit independent of that. He will still a good pick though.
