Me and Matt Cassel could become close friends cause we both never see the field and he wants to talk to me.
Jim Sorgi probably doesn't remember Roxy Music in '72, but this week's Boston Sports Media Watch feature takes a look at how rare it is for a backup QB like Cassel or Sorgi (Casorgi? Sorgisel? Thank god they're not getting married) to have to take the reins of their team over.

Anyone who has watched Damon Huard quarterback the Kansas City Chiefs this year would have to agree that he's a legitimate NFL starter. So why did it take so long for him to get an opportunity? And what does he have in common with other quarterbacks who took a long time to get their chance, like Kurt Warner, Jake Delhomme and Brad Johnson? I explore that in this week's column.

What sort of Flintstones Chewables was Sage Rosenfels horfing down before the Texans-Titans game, and what does that have to do with Seneca Wallace? Who is Mike Tomlin, and why might he be your team's head coach in a few years? And how in the name of Ocho Cinco did Oakland get outgained, 360-98, and still beat the Steelers? In this week's “Manic Monday, we attempt to answer these questions and more.
