You just can't stop this guy from talking about the NFL Draft. This time, he spoke with the readers of SEAHAWKS.NET. By the way, I just want to thank Mike for taking the lead on the draft coverage this year. I don't watch college football, and this is the one area of the NFL I really don't study much. I really appreciate that Mike dealt with our content partners and that he and Mike Tanier wrote lots of draft-related material, freeing me up to work on Pro Football Prospectus 2006.

Two fun articles on FOXSports.com. The linked article is about the worst draft years of all time. See if you can guess where 1943 ranks. Yes, we go back that far. There's also an article on the best draft years of all time.

MDS answered draft questions tonight over at a chat hosted by our partners at Baseball Prospectus. Mike Tanier will be chatting there at noon on Sunday, right as the fourth round gets started, so you can ask all your questions about the first three rounds and what to expect on day two. Also, don't forget MDS posting at Deadspin.com during the first round, and there will be recaps after each round by Mike and Mike over at FOXSports.com.

Two years ago I wrote an article revisiting the 1998 draft, and last year I wrote an article revisiting the 1999 draft. This year I've revised those two articles, and they're both now available at FoxSports.com. The 1998 version is linked in the headline, and the 1999 version is available if you go into the comments and click this link.
Yes, I will be writing an article revisiting the 2000 draft. Football Outsiders and FoxSports.com will be the best places on the Internet to get NFL draft analysis for the next month.

Learn just how much Tom Rouen sucks. Plus my feelings on the officiating, edited for the general public. If Pittsburgh fans want to continue to take issue with that in this thread, that's fine, but don't expect a response. I'm sick of trying to convince people that I'm not a Seahawks fan.

How do you stop the Seahawks and the Steelers? Why not ask a couple guys who had to face those offenses themselves? I had a chance to interview both San Francisco safety Tony Parrish and San Diego linebacker Shawne Merriman, and ask them about facing Seattle and Pittsburgh this year (and in the case of Parrish, in the last few years). I think this is the first FO interview of active players.

Ben Roethlisberger and Shaun Alexander? No, try these names for players who will play important roles in determining which team wins Super Bowl XL: Mack Strong, Kimo von Oelhoffen, Heath Miller, and LeRoy Hill.

More on Pittsburgh's spectacular third-down turnaround, Big Ben's place in history, and the awesome football factory that is the Hockomock League.

There are a lot of you out there who don't root for Denver, Pittsburgh, Carolina, or Seattle. Which teams should you be rooting for, so that this year's Super Bowl is as exciting as possible?
