Holy crap! As if I didn't love Mike to begin with, a reference to an obscure song from a (relatively) obscure band that just happens to be my favorite of all time! I think I'm gonna swoon.

Nice link on Skelton's name too. Didn't catch that at first.

I suppose you're using all the plays-on-words that you can since the chances of him ever being featured prominently in an NFL article again are pretty slim.

Your analysis of the Jags ticket sales is poor... they have two weeks until the deadline for the Redskins games and they are in much better shape now than they generally are two weeks before the deadline. In fact they had a similar number to sell for the Raiders game at the beginning of this week. Barring a disaster (ie. going 0-2 in the next two games in combination with a day-after-Christmas game) the Jags will have a blackout-free season.
