Mike Tanier runs down one of the best, and most exhausting, Divisional Round weekends in NFL history.

Adrian Peterson and J.J. Watt were the lone unanimous selections. Hard to find too much to be mad about here. I might have chosen a different center than Max Unger for the first team, and I really wish Daryl Washington had made the first team. On the other hand, now Justin Smith can call himself a second-team All-Pro at defensive end and defensive tackle, so that's fun.

These ran long, but there are some Texans diagrams, a long look at the Seahawks' offseason in comparison to what the Falcons did in 2008, and a weird bit about the 1970s Rams, so you should like it. I am doing a Cover It Live chat over there at Sports on Earth at 2 PM Eastern on Friday and would love to see some of the old faces, so stop by!

Nobody would have batted an eyelash at this move after Cam Newton's rookie year, but Chudzinski becoming head coach of the Browns this year is a bit more puzzling. Still, Cleveland was looking for someone who could open up the offense a little bit after missing on Chip Kelly, and this definitely gives them that.

The guys at BuffaloBillsDraft.com had myself and Steve Palazzolo of Pro Football Focus in for a little interview to shed some light on "the department of analytics."

No surprise here, but doctors examining Junior Seau's brain found that he had suffered from the same type of chronic brain damage that had affected many other deceased football players.

This is a little bit of a sneak peak at what's coming in Friday's Texans-Patriots preview: my contribution to Steph Stradley's TexansChick blog on the scenario it would take for Houston to beat New England.

He's sure to show up as somebody's offensive coordinator next year, but it basically comes down to "new GM wants his own guys." Moral of the story: No matter how badly you want a head coaching job, maybe it is best not to take one from a GM who is clearly on questionable footing under brand new ownership.

The official verdict on RG III's knee: Griffin underwent surgery this morning to repair torn ACL and LCL ligaments in his right knee. Team sources say that they expect him to be ready to play by Week 1 of the 2013 season. But will he be his usual self? It's hard to tell, with recovery time for ACL surgery getting shorter and shorter.

Major loss for the Seattle pass rush as the Seahawks try to win the Super Bowl. Chris Clemons tore his ACL on that awful D.C. turf yesterday and is done for the year, and probably part of next year as well. Unless he's secretly Adrian Peterson.
